About me

2019.- I joined the Sandemans Free Walking Tours Crew. It was a fantastic experience, unfortunately, that was very short-lived, as the following year was marked by the onset of the pandemic. However, I soon discovered that life had other plans for me.

2020.- During the pandemic, I started preparing my next project, the one that is bringing bread to the table today. Wino Tours, a website specializing in wine tours, was on the move. As so did I, since I had to learn how to create a website from scratch.

2021.- At that time, I survived by taking jobs from another time in my earlier career, like being an activity leader in a tourist resort. This time, however, I was given the opportunity to lead a small team and organize the entertainment for the resort. This was great!

2022.- This was the year of the comeback, working again full-time as a tour guide. I started offering my own tours through the Wino Tours website, and because this wasn’t enough, I worked around the clock with another travel agent, offering e-bike and Segway tours.

2023.- My project was starting to be real, making more tours every week. However, I still needed another job, which is why I continued as a tour guide for other companies. My biggest employer at that time was InOutBarcelonaTours, offering day tours both inside and outside the city of Barcelona—the best place to learn as a guide.

2024.- The year of the big jump! Where I finally worked full-time for my tours. The best decision I could ever make. There is nothing better than being my own boss. And soon I needed some help!

2025.- Wino Tours has been growing, and we are now a small team of three guides taking care of the tours. This gives me some time to focus on other projects, such as frombarcelona.tours, a website specializing in day tours from Barcelona, and barcelonawithivan.com, my own project, where I can offer exclusive tours as a travel agent and private guide.
